AIAMI is designed to be local-first. Your journal, financial entries, and reminders are stored on your device by default. AIAMI does not require an account to use the core features.

What AIAMI stores on your device

  • Journal chats and notes you write.
  • Brainstorm sessions and saved outputs.
  • Financial entries you log (amounts, categories, notes).
  • Reminders you create and their status.
  • Attachments you add (such as images), if you choose to use them.
  • App settings you configure (language, preferences, and similar).

Financial data

Financial data is stored locally on your device. When you use AI features, a summary of your data is processed through our secure servers to generate responses. No financial data is stored on our servers or by our AI provider.

When data leaves your device

Some features can send your input to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. This happens only when you actively use AI features (for example: asking a question in chat, summarizing, or generating ideas) and only for the provider you have selected in settings.

  • The content sent may include the text you typed (and, if you choose, attachments you provide for that request).
  • AI providers process your request under their own privacy policies and terms.
  • If you configure your own API key/provider settings, those settings are stored on your device.

Our AI providers do not train on your data

AIAMI connects to AI providers through their commercial API, which carries stronger privacy protections than consumer products. Both providers explicitly state that API data is not used for model training:

🛡 How we protect your conversations with AI

Your identity is invisible to the AI provider. Your messages pass through our private server before reaching the AI. All the provider sees is one connection from AIAMI — not you.

  • Your identity is hidden — no user ID, no device info, no IP address reaches the AI provider
  • Every request is independent — no conversation history is shared, no profile is built
  • Your financial data stays on your device — all spending, income, and reports are processed locally in files stored on your phone
  • Financial Privacy Mode — as an extra measure, flip one toggle and all financial operations run without internet. Zero server contact.

The AI helps you think. But it doesn't know who's thinking — it sees one subscriber: AIAMI.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription or an in-app product, payment is processed by the app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive basic purchase status information (e.g., whether a subscription is active) to enable features.

Support and communications

If you email support, we will receive whatever you include in your message (such as device details, screenshots, or logs) so we can help you troubleshoot. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for support.

Website data

This website does not use third-party advertising trackers. Like most hosting providers, basic server logs (such as request timestamps and IP addresses) may be processed for security and reliability.

Your choices

  • Export: You can export your data from within the app as a shareable package (for example, a ZIP).
  • Delete: You can delete your data from within the app (see Delete Data).
  • Control sharing: You decide what you type, attach, and send to any AI provider.

Children's privacy

AIAMI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version.
